Maxun is an open-source web data platform for scraping, crawling, searching and monitoring websites, and for extracting data with AI. Its idea is simple: point it at a site and get back structured data that your own software can use like any other API.

Hosted or self-hosted

You can try the hosted app, or follow the self-hosting guide and use the included Docker Compose file to run it on your own server. The code base is written mainly in TypeScript with a React front end.

It is released under the AGPL-3.0 license, which asks that modified versions offered over a network share their source code.
