PasswordCockpit

PasswordCockpit is a straightforward, self-hosted password manager built for teams, storing passwords, certificates, and files behind folder-level permissions (no access, read-only, or manage) assigned per user. Built with a PHP/Mezzio backend and an Ember.js frontend, it supports database or LDAP authentication, encrypts stored secrets with Bcrypt and AES-based ciphers, and ships as a single Docker image for quick deployment via docker-compose alongside MySQL or MariaDB. Its minimalist feature set and RESTful, Swagger-documented API make it a lightweight option for small IT teams that want shared credential storage without a heavyweight platform.
