Plausible Analytics

Plausible Analytics is a lightweight, open-source web analytics platform designed as a simpler, privacy-respecting alternative to Google Analytics, adding under 1KB to page weight and collecting no cookies or personal data whatsoever. Rather than burying insights in dozens of nested reports, Plausible surfaces page views, top sources, countries, and devices on one clean dashboard, backed by a PostgreSQL and ClickHouse stack for fast querying at scale. Because it never processes personally identifiable information, sites using it are compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without needing a cookie consent banner at all; a free, AGPL-licensed Community Edition can be self-hosted, while the independently owned managed cloud service is hosted entirely on EU-based infrastructure.
