Reaction Commerce
Reaction Commerce
An API-first, headless commerce platform on Node.js and GraphQL, now continued under the name Mailchimp Open Commerce.
Reaction Commerce is a headless e-commerce platform: it supplies the catalogue, cart, checkout, orders and payments logic through a GraphQL API, and leaves the storefront entirely up to you. That separation lets a team build a custom shopping experience in React, mobile or anywhere else, while reusing a solid commerce back end.
Project status
The repository now carries a notice that the original project has been discontinued, with the commerce platform continuing as Mailchimp Open Commerce. It remains a useful reference codebase and is still released under the GPL, but anyone planning a new build should review its maintenance state first.
