How Template Merging Works
When authoring templates in Microsoft Word, place any placeholder tag enclosed in double braces—such as {{client_name}}, {{total_price}}, or {{effective_date}}. Word's OpenXML often splits text runs across multiple XML tags. This tool implements run-stitching normalization to cleanly match and replace tags across document paragraphs, tables, headers, and footers while preserving your original styles, fonts, margins, and logos.
