About Embedded PDF Attachments

PDF specifications (PDF 1.4+ and ISO 32000) allow documents to act as digital portfolios or multi-part packages holding arbitrary files inside their internal structure. This is standard in electronic invoicing (ZUGFeRD, Factur-X) where a structured XML file is embedded inside the PDF, as well as in legal, engineering, and financial filings. This tool scans the document catalog's /Names /EmbeddedFiles and /AF (Associated Files) streams to let you safely inspect and extract them.
